  23. To obtain a working version of HTMLed or HTMLed32 (shareware, version 1.5)
  24. unzip the file htmled16.zip  (htmmled32.zip) into its own directory.
  25. Both the 16 and the 32 bit versions of HTMLed (shareware, version 1.5)
  26. will create the file htmled.ini in the windows directory.

  29. About HTMLed
  30. ============
  31. HTMLed is an editor for Microsoft Windows 3.1, NT, '95. HTMLed will run
  32. as a 16 bit application under Windows 3.x, Windows 95, or Windows NT.
  33. HTMLed32 is 32 bit software, and requires Windows 95 or Windows NT. 
  34. HTMLed  is to be used to create HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) documents.  
  35. Information on WWW (World-Wide-Web) servers is usually in HTML format.

  62. The latest shareware version of HTMLed is available via 
  63. anonymous FTP from:            ftp.ist.ca in /pub/HTMLed/
  64. or from the WWW site:        http://www.ist.ca/htmled/

  67. Installation:
  68. ============
  69. Unzip htmed16.zip (or htmled32.zip) into its own directory. HTMLED.EXE 
  70. (HTMLED32.EXE) must be accompanied by the file HTPR0000.DLL (HTPR0032.DLL).  
  71. It will create HTMLED.INI in the Windows directory.

  73. HTMLED.INI contains only setup options and will be recreated if deleted. 
  74. When HTMLed is REGISTERED (see below) the file HTMLEDRG.INI will be created 
  75. in the same directory as HTMLED.EXE (HTMLED32.EXE). It will contain an 
  76. ENCRYPTED form of the password as well as the username.

  79. HTMLed is distributed under the "shareware" concept.  You may use this
  80. software for 30 days for evaluation purposes, after which you must
  81. either register (see below) the software or discontinue it's use.

  87.   the "about" box will not pop up everytime you start the program,
  88.   and of course it will not say "Unregistered ".

  93. Registration 
  94. ============
  95. You can register by filling out the order form ORDER.TXT and submitting 
  96. it with the appropriate registration fee. We will send you a registration 
  97. password which you can use to convert your copy of HTMLed into the 
  98. registered version immediately. The preferred method for delivery of 
  99. the password is via e-mail. Registration is via the menu option 
  100. "Help|Register HTMLed"  using the furnished password.
